Earn Credits Toward your Certification Renewal
The Technical Program at IAQA’s 2021 Global Virtual Annual Meeting & Expo will feature over 30 sessions led by industry thought-leaders. IAQA will provide certificates of attendance for a maximum of 40 CE hours upon request. All sessions are eligible for continuing education credit and/or hours from the following organizations. Restoration and Remediation:
ACAC offers restoration industry certifications and contractor certifications such as mold contractor certifications, indoor air quality certifications, water damage certifications, fire and water restoration certifications; structural drying certifications, moisture control certifications, and thermography certifications.
Administration and Management:
ACAC offers emergency management certifications and indoor air quality management certifications.
Investigation and Consulting:
ACAC offers mold inspector certifications, indoor air quality certifications, environmental certifications, infection control certifications, thermography certifications, allergen certifications, and fire and smoke certifications.
Mold Removal Specialist
The IICRC has developed a "Standalone Certification exam" for professionals in the mold remediation industry. The Mold Removal Specialist (MRS) certification exam will certify that successful candidates meet all state licensing requirements.
The Mold Removal Specialist (MRS) certification recognizes professionals who have the knowledge and skills necessary to: perform mold remediation for structures and contents; design and maintain containment; control pressure differentials; safely work in mold contaminated environments; understand common remediation work practices; review protocols; design and implement remediation processes; understand and follow industry standards and legal requirements; recognize conditions conducive for causing mold growth; and prevent amplification and contamination for a variety of building environment types.
