Dr. Ralph Moon is a Principal in the Forensics Department in the Tampa office of GHD, Inc.   Dr. Moon’s current area of research interest the duration of insurance losses. His current area of research is the deterioration of wood flooring. His previous research interests were composite wood cabinet deterioration, fungal growth on gypsum wall board assemblies, floor tile movement and debonding, the measurement of swelling pressure following moisture exposure and deriving rates of moisture absorption and swelling height among a variety of composite wood products. He was awarded a B.S. in Biology from Western Michigan University, M.S. in Botany and Ph.D. in Biology from the University of South Florida.

Dr. Moon currently serves on Scientific Advisory Board for the Clothing Industry Research Institute (CIRI).
